The Challenge
Echo Chamber were preparing for a big music event that would have the ability to showcase what they’re capable of to a large audience. They knew they wanted to take advantage of the opportunity by getting their logo turned into a neon light, but they needed guidance on what would actually work best for them. They needed the sign to stand out among the many other lights that would be shining in the club throughout the event. They didn’t want to stray away from their well established brand identity, but they had concerns about how well their white logo would captivate an audience as a neon sign. With these challenges in mind, we worked with them to design a sign that would be eye-catching, durable and true to who they are as a brand.
The Solution
Our design team communicated all of the different options to Echo Chamber and gave them recommendations for what would work best. At first, Echo Chamber weren’t sure whether they should make the sign white LED neon or RGB colour changing. After some thought, they prioritised their desire to make the sign as cohesive with their brand identity as possible. After going over all of the options and deciding what would work best, Echo Chamber were ready for us to take the reins and really transform their logo.
The Results
Once the final mockup had been approved, it was in our hands to bring their logo to life in time for it to shine at the big upcoming music event. We knew how important it was for us to accurately represent the Echo Chamber brand with this sign. We ended up creating a Vibrant LED neon sign that would be a striking visual of their brand and captivate an audience. The finished 75cm x 75cm white LED neon sign met all of their requirements and instantly eliminated any doubts that were present throughout the design process.

The Customisations
With Echo Chamber having such a strong purpose, each and every detail needed to represent their brand and their journey of making techno culture accessible. Here are some of the details that had an impact:
Colour: Despite the uncertainty of choosing white LED neon for the sign, the crisp glow proved to be a stand out feature among the other warmer toned lights at the big music event.
Backing: The LED neon tubing was mounted onto a cut-around acrylic backboard that seamlessly follows the circular shape of their logo, making the sign lightweight, durable and easy to move to different locations which was a big plus for Echo Chamber.
