Our attention to detail and commitment to creating incredible products is why Village Idiom was so thrilled to be the lucky winner of the giveaway we did in collaboration with Frankie Magazine. Village Idiom is the place to go for beautiful jewellery and clothing, unique gifts, homewares, and more. The boutique focuses on making ethical and sustainable items available on a budget and curating a selection of unique, quirky, stylish, beautiful, and delightful things from Australia and the world.
The Challenge
Village Idiom had been operating in Yarraville, Vic since 2000 and had a well-established brand identity and overall aesthetic. Our task was to create a sign that would elevate their logo and add to the quirky and unique style of the shop.
The Solution
The task of taking the Village Idiom logo to the next level wasn't an easy one since it was already so unique and eye-catching. We worked with Village Idiom to select the colours that would be the best match for the logo. Our design experts were able to give Village Idiom various different design mockups until they fell in love with the right one.
The Results
Once Village Idiom approved the final design, it was up to us to deliver something with even more personality and energy than the logo already had. The finished product was a beautiful sign that used pink and yellow LED neon hues and UV printing techniques to take the original logo to the next level.

The Customisations
The Village Idiom sign is a blend of modern innovation and classic art. Here are some of the features that were used to bring all of the positive energy of the logo into the finished LED neon sign:
Size: The sign was 75cm x 40cm, making it the perfect size to be displayed as a glowing feature in the store.
Colour: The soft light pink paired beautifully with our warm white colour to replicate the colours of the Village Idiom's original logo.
UV printing: We used the UV printing technique to print the logo onto the clear acrylic backing, which made the brand easily identifiable. The LED neon tubing and UV printing seamlessly work together to create a brighter, more exciting version of the Village Idiom logo.
