The Challenge:
Cult Crew Training approached us with a clear objective: they wanted a large, impactful neon sign to serve as the centrepiece of their new fitness studio. With their space and equipment ready, they were looking for a striking feature to create a high-energy environment that would help set the tone for their upcoming launch. The sign needed to be large enough to make a statement and give off a high-energy vibe. The challenge was to design a neon sign that would reflect the vibrant and inclusive culture of the studio, and stand out in the very large space.
The Solution:
After discussing their vision, we worked closely with the team at Cult Crew Training to develop a custom LED neon sign that would perfectly complement their branding. Basing the design of their existing logo, we mainly focused on refining the details to ensure we met the requirements. Cult Crew Training’s owner visited our office so we could help them visualise each detail as we moved through the design process. After designing multiple mockups, they were ready for us to take the lead and bring their vision of a striking neon sign to life.
The Results:
Once the final mockup was approved, our team got to work on bringing the vision to life in time for the studio’s grand opening. The finished product was an eye-catching 170cm x 200cm neon sign featuring vibrant cyan-coloured LED tubing. The large size made it a stunning focal point of the fitness studio, setting the tone for the brand’s energetic, welcoming atmosphere. The neon sign not only enhanced the aesthetics of the space but also made a strong brand statement, ensuring that Cult Crew Training stood out and was immediately recognisable. The clean, professional finish, coupled with the bold and vibrant colour, created the perfect backdrop for future classes.

The Customisations:
What truly made this sign stand out were the thoughtful customisations that aligned perfectly with the fitness centre's vision:
Colour: The cyan-coloured neon tubing was chosen to infuse the studio with energy, reflecting the dynamic and vibrant atmosphere of the brand.
Backing: The neon tubing was mounted onto a cut-around acrylic backboard, ensuring a sleek, professional finish while also offering durability in the high-traffic environment of the studio.
Size & Installation: The 170cm x 200cm sign made a bold statement in the fitness centre, becoming a key visual feature. We used two rows of our 8mm LED tubing to make it look like 16mm tubing, which made the sign stand out even more.
Font & Shape: The precise cutting of the logo ensured clarity and brand recognition, perfectly complementing the overall design of the studio.
